ONE Group Hosts Senior Delegation from Zimbabwe for Economic Dialogue
The First Step Toward Economic Cooperation Between Iran and Zimbabwe
As part of DotOne Value Creation Group’s ongoing international consultations, a high-level delegation from Zimbabwe visited the group’s headquarters in Tehran yesterday, where they were introduced to DotOne’s capabilities and expertise in the areas of finance, commerce, transportation, and import-export.
The delegation, headed by Dr. Mohammad Jassat, Advisor to the President of Zimbabwe on International Affairs and the Middle East, accompanied by Ed Branson, the Ambassador of Zimbabwe in Tehran, and the Economic and Media Advisor to the President, engaged in a two-hour discussion with the senior executives of DotOne Group.
Transportation, banking, and trade were the main focus of the discussions.
During this meeting, both parties exchanged views on areas of economic cooperation between Iran and Zimbabwe, focusing on air, road, and rail transport, banking services, export, import, and logistics capacities. DotOne Group, by presenting a comprehensive report on the infrastructure and operational capabilities of its subsidiaries, expressed its readiness to develop collaborations at both regional and continental levels.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that within a short time frame, experts from both countries would carefully examine the areas of cooperation and draft the initial framework of a formal memorandum of understanding. This memorandum will outline the execution path for priorities, the timeline of activities, and the method of interaction between the two parties.
The DotOne International Group, with a transnational vision and unique capabilities in finance and infrastructure, is ready to play an active role in the development of intercontinental economic relations, especially between Iran and countries with emerging economies..
