The Largest Tanker-Wagon Manufacturing Deal in Iran’s Railway History Signed

Avan Rail and Derakhshan Steel: Allies in the Development of Fuel Transportation in Iran

In an official ceremony attended by the board members of DotOne International Group for Financial and Economic Development, a contract for the purchase of 600 tank wagons was signed between Avan Rail Trains Company and Derakhshan Iron & Steel Company—a contract that holds the title of the largest private sector collaboration in tank wagon manufacturing in the history of the Islamic Republic of Iran's railway system.

These wagons, designed for transporting various types of fuel, will be produced and delivered in two phases of 300 units each. According to the planned schedule, the first batch of these wagons will be put into service during the auspicious Fajr decade and will play a crucial role in optimizing and increasing the fuel transport capacity of the country.

This contract, in addition to its technical and economic value, demonstrates Avan Rail's proactive approach in utilizing the country's industrial capacities and supporting domestic production in the specialized fuel transport sector.
