DotOne Seir Receives 25 Daewoo Trucks as Part of 1,000-Unit Regional Fleet Expansion Plan
Dotone Seir, a subsidiary of the Dotone Value Creation Group, added 25 Daewoo trucks to its operational fleet during a ceremony attended by Seyed Adel Heydari, Chairman of the Board of the group, and the CEOs of Avan Seir and Caspian Khodro.
These trucks, aimed at covering the transportation needs of essential goods, public necessities, and the four types of fuel, will soon be deployed on international routes, including Iraq, Afghanistan, and Central Asian countries, after receiving international license plates.
According to Javad Sadeghi-Majd, CEO of dotone Seir, this initiative is part of a broader vision aimed at equipping a fleet of 1,000 modern trucks to cover domestic and regional routes. This plan not only contributes to the improvement of the country’s transportation infrastructure but also plays a key role in strengthening Iran’s position in the regional supply chain.
While a major portion of the country's commercial fleet relies on Chinese brands, the introduction of trucks with international standards such as Daewoo reflects dotone Seir’s strategic outlook on the future of international transportation. Given the limitations caused by sanctions and the challenges of securing after-sales services for European brands, Daewoo has been selected as a mid-range option with technical and operational advantages.
This collaboration has been carried out in partnership with Caspian Khodro, and its further development will be evaluated in future phases.
